Welcome to L.B.’s Premade Book Covers

 

As an indie author, I understand the necessity of a professionally designed book cover. Most of my covers are designed with a nod to the Gothic Horror and Paranormal genres. My professional background in publishing began more than 20 years ago as a publications director and graphic designer in both private business and public and private education. As an avid photography hobbyist, I use my photography when possible. You’ll find some of my work featured on a few of my books.

Please note: I love dark contrasts. My covers are designed to work best in a gloss cover format. If you prefer a matte cover, then adjustments can be made to tone down the shadow and contrast.

 

Pricing: (prices are in U.S. dollars). Before making your purchase, please e-mail me (stimsonink@gmail.com) to discuss your timeline and any alterations you may have in mind for a particular cover. Please include the cover’s title in the email for reference.

 

Ebook only: $65

 

Paperback, Hardcover, and Audible covers: additional $15 each.

 

Client will also receive the final cover imagery without text so you can alter it for banners, bookmarks, mugs, etc. Once a cover is sold, it is removed from inventory.

 

Design Notes: Minor alterations (font, hue, tone) are included in the price. Major alterations (new imagery) will incur additional fees. That’s something we can discuss at the time. Covers are designed to work best with a gloss finish. If you prefer matte, please let me know so that adjustments can be made.

Client is responsible for sending final text to me if you prefer I place it. Client may also request the full wrap w/out back cover text or fonts to place on their own. If using KDP services, client is responsible for providing final page count, trim size, cover finish preference, and uploading the file. Please make sure to order proof copies (in plenty of time) to ensure the cover prints properly.

 

Payment: Once the cover is approved, you will receive an invoice (via PayPal email) with balance due 15 days from statement date. Once payment is received (PayPal or debit/credit), I will upload the final files to a shared Google folder for you to download (or email depending on file size). Full payment is required before final art is released. Until then, imagery will retain the copyright watermark. Client may email or call me with any questions. Please e-mail for my phone number.
