I'm thrilled to have met my goal of seeing The Lincoln House published on Halloween. I set a goal over the summer to finish the book and for a few weeks, I managed close to 1000 words a day. By the end of 30 days, 35,000 words had completed this work.
The Lincoln House was inspired by a painting in the Berkeley Plantation manor home along the James River in Virginia. I was touched by the image of a 15 year old young woman who went on to have 10 children and die at the young age of 24. This story haunted me and thus, was the inspiration for this book.
It has taken two years though to see it to fruition. 2023 was a difficult year personally and I didn't get a lot of productive writing completed. I picked myself up earlier this year, and decided I better honor my father by not lingering in the world of despair but to make him proud as he watches from heaven.
The audio edition of the book is scheduled for a early 2025 release. Jennifer March will lend her voice to the story. Also, this book will be available on a variety of listening platforms.
If you'd like a signed copy of this book or any of my books, please email me. I do plan up having a storefront available in 2025 but for now, direct emails will have to do.
Thanks for reading.
